BIKE INSIDE CYCLING WEAR – MADE IN ITALY QUALITY
INTRODUCE YOURSELF TO OUR READERS AND TELL US WHY YOU’RE ON A CYCLING MAGAZINE…
Ciao! I’m Andrea I’m 40 years old and I cycle! I only just recently started my first collection of cycling apparel.
Tired of the usual racing designs on shirts, I started to design more shirts that were in style, with stripes, polka dots, and small squares. BIKE INSIDE CYCLING WEAR was born for those who, like me, look for something different than the classic cycling wear. This passion came in a time of major changes in my personal and professional life, so I decided to dedicate myself full time in a project that would support my creativity and from here I founded my business and my new brand.
LOOKING AT YOUR WEBSITE AND SOCIAL MEDIA I NOTICED YOUR BRAND AND IMAGE RIGHT AWAY. TELL ME HOW YOUR “BIKE INSIDE” IDEA WAS BORN.
I have a background in graphic design and I’m a lover of geometry and symmetry.
Work-wise I come from a variety of experiences, commercially diverse from the standards, choosing and evaluating first hand all the varying technical aspects of commercial, communications, and marketing and it’s for that reason why there’s such great personal satisfaction.
Choosing “Made in Italy” was a natural decision; I knew to aim toward a demanding public, therefore I wanted quality products. Even the final price takes part of the “Bike Inside”concept; quality products at the right cost. On the contrary of what happens on the market, with markdowns in the 70-80% range; I decided to garuntee my clients purchases without surprises.
IN YOUR CATALOG ITS OBVIOUS THAT YOU DECIDED TO ENGAGE IN A LINE THAT IS NOT “CONVENTIONAL” (a motive in which we fell in love with you right away!), HOW DO YOU STUDY THE GRAPHICS AND TRIMS IN YOUR LINE?
I speak to those who, like me, are passionate about cycling, and who don’t feel comfortable being plastered with all the sponsorship logos everywhere.
After almost a year of research I selected a series of original and various graphics according to some personal taste and some styles dictated by fashion and sport. In regards to the style, I chose a jersey from a broad size range respecting the classic ‘slim fit’ style. I wanted a technical opaque fabric that was very soft and breathable, and so that on the first touch, you recognize “a different kind of product”. The divisible zipper and the low collars are personal choices that I love. The overalls have more of a sportive style; elastic suspenders with the softest beathable mesh, with a range of fabric patches coated in carbon and high elastic leg grippers.
WHAT RESPONSE DID YOU HAVE TO THE “MARKET” UNTIL NOW?
I only started working in marketing for a few months, but since the beginning of this adventure, I wanted to take care of all the details and have them perfectly ready on a quality level. It’s not easy to start only on a personal budget in a closed industry, but in just a few months after the launch of my website e-commerce www.bikeinside.cc, I received positive feedback from road bike and mountain bike fans that are from “fixed addictet”. My product is designed to fit the super technical people in which even the XS is too wide and the macho men with iron quadricepts with the double XXL! In addition, many naturally look at me smugly, because I propose “different” ideas… But I have satisfying confirmation in many contexts, which is why I’m positive and I remain loyal to the nature of my project.
PRACTICAL APPAREL MADE IN ITALY
Compared to the dawn of the 19th century, cycling apparel has evolved considerably, giving a sense of comfort and protection to every cyclist. On the other hand, at the same time we search for the absolute performance and our manufacturers present us with excellence in it. In this setting we have divided ourselves between global business reputation and small organizations.
Bike Inside is a cool creation by Andrea Franzini located in Brescia. A cycling apparel desginer, clothing born in Italy, and earning good approval from bikers and lovers of fixed biking.
The edgy Italian brand Bike Inside doesn’t shy from bold graphics and statements. Founder Andrea Franzini holds up his illusions cycling jersey and I have one of his cycling caps which is named Tattoo and let’s everyone know ‘where you are at’.
BIKE INSIDE. STARS&STRIPES JERSEY, IN THE VELODROME WITH STYLE.
Bike Inside is a new brand of cycling apparel, rich in style and character, one of the best mergers between fashion and cycling on a national overview. The best interpritation for the whole collection is modernity but most of all the want to emerge from the crowd and it resides in each of these clothes. All this happens without giving up performance and typical Italian product quality, in fact, the owner has strongly invested in creating optimal clothing at a technical level, capable of satifying even the most demanding cyclists.
The materials used and the production is garunteed on all products. It’s unlikely that you will need to use a summer outfit in this time of year in our country, unless you’re lucky enough to spend the winter in a place with spring weather or you decide, like most people, to have fun and practice in a velodrome during the week. So this way, indoors, you can exercise while wearing a summer outfit, just like the Stars&Stripes jersey in short sleeves made with a microfiber fabric that is extremely light and allows an extreme amout of breathability. On the side of the shirt there are areas for elestic inserts, ideal for adapting to various sizes, even for those who recently ate way too much cake…
The collar is low and the Camlock zip is completely divisible, it’s one of many great cycling jersey designs to wear. The overalls, made with Lycra Sport Power fabric at high resistance has a racing size and offers a moderate muscle compression, convinient for improving tissue oxigination. The microfiber ergonomic suspenders are soft and don’t cede even after various use. The elastic band on the bottom of the leg are rather high but it never becomes fussy. The Carbon fabric patch in different thicknesses is comfortable and, although with some variations, gives an effiecient support even after several hours on the seat. The black overalls are compatible with different jerseys in their Bike Inside line, a great excuse to buy two immediately so you can alternate every time you go out for a ride.
The designs on the Stars&Stripes jersey are very unique and complement modern cycling, but overall they allow you to stand out from the crowd and wear something truly different from the usual, without taking away the technical aspects in which we have become used to in these years.
Wether it’s on the track or streets no matter the season, remember Bike Inside Cycling Wear because from here on out there will be a different kind of innovations!

BIKE INSIDE. FASHION AND PASSION FOR PEDALING; A NEW TREND IN CYCLING WEAR
The advancement in cycling wear in these recent years has had a great influence in the fashion trends that have opened the road to important influences. Classic cycling wear has always been around, the ones that tailored according to technical and advanced materials. From the fields of cross country cycling to the world of regular cycling, there has arrived a company that invested a lot in the creation of clothing lines with strong characteristics, providing new combinations of fashionable colors and creativity, sometimes unconventional but without overlooking quality. Bike Inside was born from Andrea’s positive intuition, a cycling fan with mania for design with a swing of genius (and a good dose of courage) riding this wave of changes to put on trade a unique and modern product made completely in Italy.
These clothes, characterized by detail of quality and of layout are already a mark for the fundamentals of this brand, they are tailor-made at those who often feel discomfort wearing clothing with strong “professional” flair, that have a variety of sponsorships written everywhere. The collection, visible and available for purchase on their official website, is currently composed of summer outfits with coordinating socks that are styled in demand. Their desire is to offer something different, clothing without any technical gaps that would reflect on the “glamor” inside of every cyclist.
The short sleeve jerseys have an anitomical cut and have a light wearability that is more comfortable than the race-fit ones. They are made with microfiber fabric that has a nice feel, light and breathable, adaptive to hot conditions. Low collar, Camlock zip divisible and elastic bands around the sleeves are the most recognizable characteristics of this great product. Looking at the the anatomical cut overalls, they have been racing styled and the Lycra Power fabric at a high resistance garuntees a great muscular compression, favoring the oxygenation of the bloodstream. The elastic suspenders are also made of microfiber, while the elastic band around the legs are made with micro silicone inserts which promises great stability. The carbon fabric patch with different thicknesses and without seams promises optimal presentations, the same garuntees from their utmost accessory, the Lycra socks, always paired with your choice of any colorful outfit. In their simple creations they can be proud of a typical anatomical cut of the medium-high area and a structure especially projected to favor wearability and perspiration.
For Bike Inside we could talk about commercial niche, although, following global trends through social media such as Instagram and Facebook, one could easily discover that this isn’t your typical niche, because of how unique it is and it’s becoming a rapidly expansive trend. The collection also provides excellent clothing intended for women, outfits that are just as modern and tecnical as the ones intended for men.
These past few days I tried the full-formed Vintage Jersey outfit and the Blue Bib and the feeling of it was great. The shapes of the design are clear and the material by all means doesn’t fail to follow through with its initial promise. The cut-close fitting but comfortable and ultimately follows the intent of the manufacturer. As you can see on the website, the prices are affordable for a product of this quality and the collection is also distributed across a commercial enterprise that follow the desires of offering different pieces to a public that is difficult to please.
I also suggest you follow their facebook page, it’s the best way to receive up to date information on all the new desgins. Bike Inside, cycling wear is always an Italian affair!

TESTING BIKE INSIDE CYCLING WEAR
Apparel and art, quality and attention to the details: the newest brand of apparel BIKE INSIDE cycling wear made in Italy.
When I began to ride, at this point it was more that twenty years ago (I can’t believe it…) there weren’t many alternatives in terms of technical clothing, in my opinion “the look” was based on the availability of materials. The “racing” jerseys were trendy, the ones that matched professional teams and your favorite athletes. It was like this for many years, for me and for millions of fans. Then something changed in these recent years, you desire it for commercial reasons or for basic evolution of things, and finally even a cyclist has the possibility to take care of their own technical wardrobe with a vast choice of brands and materials.
Feel comfortable at every opportunity, like seeing yourself in the mirror, perform your favorite sport for hours without experiencing a decline in comfort are only a few aspects to take into consideration before buying a new product. To find the right one, other than the physical stores, today we have the Internet that allows us to search, select, compare and contrast a great amount of brands, all from the comfort of our couch.
In addition, there are other options… For example visiting a trade fair, like Cosmobike of Verona. I’ll be a little vintage inside, but I can’t resist the temptation of discovering a new stand, from meeting new people, maybe fans like you to exchange a few words on who considers what the most beautiful sport in the world is, looking for new products… This is how I met Andrea and his new brand Bike Inside cycling wear, a line of apparel for cyclists that is really unique and above all, made in Italy.
I see in him the enthusiasm of an Italian that wants to accept a challenge, to overcome obstacles, to labor, to express ones ability and style without making compromises. In short, a real cyclist. Not by chance, he is such a serious enthusiast that he has the bike “inside”! What hit me more than the other stands were the graphics, the details, the declared quality, and the conisderable openness of the designer. But really, it didn’t take long to “fall in love” and like this we went our separate ways…
In fact, after a few days, here I am riding under the sun in autumn with a Zig-Zag jersey, black overalls with a logo and colored socks. Putting on the outfit makes you realize right away the attention given to the quality and details, but it’s not until after your bike ride that you comprehend even more of the effectiveness of the product.
The jersey has a divisible zipper, absolutely necessary and handy during a hot day on a long climb and a comfortable “Korean style” collar. The lycra used garuntees high performance thanks to the lightness, breathability, muscle support, and the freedom of movement.
The overalls are made of soft perforated bands, from a fabric patch of high array made with the combination of perforated foam at a medium density to absorb shocks, ideal for street biking as well as for mountain biking, without internal seams (or visible seams). On the bottom legs there are silicone micro points to maintain the fabric firm during any type of excursion.
The socks are extremely light and comfortable, with a central periforated band for maximum amout of breathability. I cycled for almost three hours on a urban route and hill and I have to say that I am completely satisfied with the products and happy to have a new look to wear for my bike rides, Thanks Andrea!
